Advice on buying a car

I am looking to buy a used car in PP.
Can anyone recommend a good second hand car dealer in the PP, Alcudia, Pollensa area.
Presumably it is safer to buy from a franchise dealer eg Ford in Pollensa.

Does anyone have a reliable car to sell?
Are there any reliable repair/service garages in PP?

Re. service centres, we use Tomi garage, right in the centre of PP. We have used him regularly over the last 3 years. He speaks English, is trustworthy and his charges are reasonable.

Beware if buying an ex-hire car

A friend of mine has just received a 100€ fine for not displaying a ITV sticker even though the car is only 2 years old. Why? - because the car is an ex-hire car and the requirements for ITV tests are different. If you buy an ex-hire car it needs an ITV at 2 years, then every year for 5 years and then every 6 months.
