Hi to everyone

New to this, so bear with me - I will probably get it wrong!

Visited Puerto Pollensa many years ago on a package holiday with our children and always wanted to come back and stay on the Pine Walk. My husband and I are visiting in September and bringing my Mum who is 77. Mum has some walking difficulties and we wanted to find a sea view property where she can sit and watch the world go by.
Because we are only getting this organised now, our options are limited. We have found availability in the Alicia apartments and have the option of 1st or second floor.

Has anyone stayed in these apartments and would they be suitable for my Mum? I can't find many visitor reviews so I would really appreciate some help!:)

Hi DonnClan and welcome to the forum, i have just looked at the details for Alicia and it says it's at the start of the Pinewalk so plenty of bars and restaurants close by and also there is a lift, so i would say it would be ideal for you.:D

Thanks Sparky!

The forum looks amazing - so much information.
I remember getting a Newsletter the last time we were in PP which gave us lots of help - things change!

I really want my Mum to enjoy this holiday, so I am a bit anxious. Good to know location is fine. Any comments on 1st or 2nd floor being more suitable?:)

I have not been inside so can't comment but i am sure someone will be able to tell you. :)

We stayed in this block a few years ago.
It was OK - but we've stayed in some more modern places since.
I seem to remember in the apartment we stayed in, that the wooden doors to the balcony didn't close properly.
That said, the location is excellent - not too far to walk to the centre for shops etc, and great for people watching all the day long.

A word on floor numbering...
We've found that sometimes what's described as 1st floor can be what we would call ground floor.
