Airport Taxis

Going to PP for the first time in 2 weeks and can't wait. With all this talk of pre-booking taxis I am worried, as I was advised that it would be fine to just pick one up when we arrive rather than have to pre-book it. Is this advice okay????

There have always been plenty of taxis in the rank when I've arrived. However some people prefer the reassurance of pre-booking in case they arrive late and/or require a people carrier for a family plus luggage etc. Do make sure you agree the rate first - I think it may be published on a board & should be about 53 eur.

Taxis

We have been pre booking our taxis this year and would say it is much easier as they actually meet you within the arrivals hall instead of having to find the taxi rank which can be annoying.

We have started using Jose taxi 26 and you can either phone, email or fax him to book.

He will meet you in the arrivals hall and has never once been late, it is normally his brother in law Danny that will meet you and he is a very friendly man who will chat away and speaks very good english.

I would recommend this instead of just waiting at the taxi rank as is far quicker, it has taken us just under an hour from stepping of the plane to actually arrive in Puerto Pollensa.
