We normally get a hire car for the length of the holiday.... but decided we really don’t need to this year.
Just looking for a good transfer company to get us upto Puerto Pollensa.
Prices with holiday taxi for a standard shuttle transfer seem very reasonable. Would anyone recommend them?

We use Holiday Taxis for most transfers during the main season. They use Transunion coaches which are clean and comfortable.Once on board the coach, you may need to wait up to an hour whilst other passengers join the coach - but luckily sometimes it is a lot less time. :)

On all recent transfers, the coach has gone direct to Puerto Pollensa (ie not going via Alcudia and/or Can Picanfort) and generally we are the first -or amongst the first - passengers to be dropped by the Mar Senses Hotel.

Depending which on website you use to book with (& which discounts are available) , the price is usually around £14 to £17 return per passenger.

Another plus point, is that the collection time is usually around 3.5 hours before our check in time at Palma Airport.

Sounds good to me!
I was looking at Jet2.com transfers at first (flying with tui mind) and it seemed to be very reasonable, but noticed it said powdered by holiday taxis... so theirs their website direct and it was a little bit cheaper.

Is it worth booking return trip? I was tempted to just book to get us upto Pollensa.... then if at the end of the holiday we’re doing ok for euros, maybe just jump in a taxi.

We use ZaZa and they are great Always good driver and spot on time

North Majorca Transfers are really good. When daughter arrives on her own she uses Transunion - books direct for about 8 euros each way as she doesn’t want to pay the 80euros for a taxi but when there are a few of you then a cab from North Majorca Transfers is always a delight

Just had a look at transunion direct. €14.75 each way

I have started doing a one-way car rental using Hiper Rentacar. It costs about 70 euros for 48 hours hire - enables us to pick up things we need for the apartment; a big shop at Lidls/Euroski; flying visit to Cafe Majorca at CSV and evening meals at Can Josep and/or Mirador de la Victoria. Then easy to drop car off at their PP office.

The only slight downside is getting the mini-bus to Hiper's depot. Last month we were on the road within 30 minutes of going through arrivals.

Just had an even cheaper price, when looking on the Hoppa website, £7.71 each way. Anybody used these? Its says the bus company used is TMT DMC Mallorca SL... don't think I have heard of them
