Just took a look, but I was thinking more of a 'whats on' listing, specific to each month.....
So that if you are out in June....you can just click on 'June' and all the listings are there with specific dates and venues.

Very good point Susie. As Lorenzo has her ear to the ground in this topic, perhaps she can start a sub thread "May entertainment" "June entertainment" or whatever, and update it as she - or anyone else - hears of something!?

It might be just as easy to post about a band appearing as and when it happens. I tend to click onto "New posts" whenever I log onto the forum, as I'm sure most people do. Having lots of "stickies" at the top of the forum can be a bit confusing - as they're there all the time, I tend to miss new posts that have been added to them.

That would be very helpful Bella.....the thing is we don't always have internet when we are there.....it would be a great help in planning ahead.
It is annoying to arrive back home, log on and realise that you missed something really good.

Events in Pollensa & Puerto Pollensa

I wonder if the solution to this might be that we all add known events to the Calendar section.
That way, forum members can have a look at the calendar before going on holiday and make a note of any events that are of interest to them.
Also, all member can add events to the listings too. I get to hear about a few events but the more people that contribute to this section, the better IMHO.

For the calendar, please do use it if you know of any one-off events but as they all need to moderated, don't go overboard!

I will update it with the usual fiestas, markets etc. as soon as I have time. But if you know of any single NON-COMMERCIAL or CHARITABLE events such as the dancing that Lorenzo has added for today then do add them as we're unlikely to know about them. But I'm afraid we cannot add any calendar events in Bars, Cafes etc. that do not advertise with us as it isn't fair on the places who already pay to advertise with us

Just took a look at the calendar and yes that seems a great idea !
Took me a minute or two to find it (to my shame)
