Hi all,just back from a gr8 week in pp,why does no one mention Bar Naciente,I had the best tapas and proper steak ever in the 8yrs I've been going there,the service was good and the price great value,come on you guys give it a go!

Used to go here a lot when the children were younger.The entrance looks nothing but the large garden at the back is fab. I find the food ok but not exciting :| . Now I love garlic but everything is overpowered by the stuff and would certainly frighten away the keenest vampire! Also although the menu appears vast is really just different meat - chicken pork or steak with the same pepper or roquefort sauce poured over...bit bland.

Having said that it is good for young families as plenty of space for a run around and the food is very reasonably priced. Its also a good bet if you arrive in PP late as Jose stays open till the early hours.

Love the place when we go over in winter, big log fire and comfy. Went there in July, O.K, but got the feeling they don't employ enough staff, so service was pretty poor.

Debz my steak was fabulous and it didn't have any sauce poured over it,very few of the tapas featured garlic and I agree the garden is great,smiddy the night I was there last week there was 4 waiting staff on who were very attentive and I have no complaints,maybe you just got a bad night!Anyway I thoroughly enjoyed it and IF I go back to pp I will give it another go,thanks for your views.

LIked this restaurant but was a bit off when trying to settle the bill they just assumed that we didn't want any change, had a real job getting our change.

Same problem, and very stroppy too when trying to recover your change!
