A rather sweeping statement.

I thought the very same. :(

I must admit that I thought it was the "beginning of the end" when they opened BK on the front!! ...and the proliferation of TMex.

But variety is what is required. It only becomes a problem when all restaurants become the same.

We need to satisfy individual preferences and budgets.

I have to admit to craving...yes...craving a burger at times!!

No but I still rate it one of the best just had some bad reviews from people who go to PP for you normal Burger and Chips and who will not try good Majorca food.

Ahem - excuse me!! We love Mallorcan food and eat traditional many times during our holiday (inlcuding meals at Mallorcan friends' place):) We have never eaten burger and chips in our lives (maybe missing out there;)) but I have to admit I did give Posito a not too favourable review a couple of years ago. As is always the case - it's all a matter of personal experience and each to his own and nothing to do with dissing other peoples' taste in food:D

No we are not burger and chips fans but found the service at El Posito too rushed

We like to relax when we eat and also like to eat outside whenever possible We found the times we ate there course dumped down one after the other Nice flavours and food but not comfortable or relaxing

Stay is still my favourite ! Has it all for us

I think we should do a survey of the top five posters....causing a stir!!:cool:

What does "dissing" mean?

I think it's short for disrespect!!! But don't worry, everyone has a right to their own opinions as long as expressed in a nice way!! :) :)

From The Free Dictionary:

dis or diss (ds)
tr.v. dissed, diss·ing, diss·es Informal
To show disrespect to, often by insult or criticism: "[The network] is often dissed for going after older, less demographically desirable viewers" (Michael McWilliams).

[African American Vernacular English, short for disrespect.]

Yes there are some members who like to stir things up but i think the best thing we can all do is to not rise to the bait, that way what has been a very good thread won't be spoilt.
It's all about respect my friends ;).
