Best 5 Restaurants in PP 2014

[Disorderly]

Based upon the votes of six of us, and the food we ate in the restaurants we visited in August 2014, our top five are as follows:-

1) Stay
2) El Posito
3) Ca'n Josep/Zarzales (joint)
4) Brisa Marina
5) Siller

Each of these got someone's top vote, and it was all very close.

Really must try some more new places next year!

We have thought hard and these are our choices based on our stay this year

1). Brisas- fantastic food and service
2). Can Cuarassa - as above plus lovely touches to help us celebrate a special night
3) Bahia - super attentive staff and great seafood
4). Capri - beautiful setting, lovely food and service
5). Little Italy - great for food, drinks, setting and fun with the staff.

We only went to O'Lume for lunch but we were disappointed on this occasion. Other restaurants were in Pollensa town.

I'm confused! Where are Brisas and Brisa Marina? Are they the same?

Hi Bean Counter, they are not the same. Brisas is beach front between Daina og Miramar (approx)
Brisa Marina are beachfront on the other side of the roundabout.

Brisas bar is to the right of Hotel Daina - it is one of 3 bars in a row - Cactus, Brisas and Iru (if they are all still so named)

Snowy We had an excellent meal and Jaime was at his best.
My wife summed it up "perfect meal".

As we won't be back in PP until late November when a lot of our favourite food haunts will be closed I thought I'd better post now following a great 3 weeks sojourn in the summer.

1. Ca'n Josep - fantastic food and service. Never disappoints. Best of the best!!
2. Hells Kitchen - very friendly and lovely food.
3. La Celtica - new'ish but great possibilities. Lovely freshly cooked food
4. Stay - good but not normal standard. Felt rushed as they had a full restuarant
5. Tribeca - lovely food and atmosphere but wish they would change their menu!

New Years Resolution! Must try different restaurants next year!!

So much choice and so little time to enjoy - roll on next year.

1. Siller (Never been before, food and service excellent)
2. O'Lume (Again another new one for us T-bone off the bone was awesome)
3. Can Josep (Excellent service and food)
4. Centric (What a surprise! Fantastic food and service)
5. Na Ruxia (One of our old favourites)

The bar is set high in all the above restaurants. Not one bad meal all week apart from a dodgy plastic looking eggs in the salad at Jardin near the square and processed ham in what was billed as Sorrano ham! Can't believe the difference in quality with the Centric bang opposite. Steak to die for at Centric.
