We have been home now for a week so must post our top 5

1, Los Faroles best fish around, fantastic service
2, Brisa Marina great lamb shoulder,also great service, good for lunch also
3, Tango good value for money and a waiter remembered us from his Los Faralos days
4, Can Ferra this is great for lunch or dinner Tony is always welcoming, the even have a photo of my grandson from 5yrs ago one the wall
5, Celler La Parra beautiful food but after finishing our meal had to wait 20 mins to have plates cleared even after asking twice!

I hope this is ok, these restaurants were standout experiences in every way, and really pretty much way ahead of all the rest in terms of great food. We went to Centric, which was nice as regards the food but found the service over familiar and patronising , I don't like to be called sweetheart and darling by a very young waitress.
Casa Vila was pretty good too and better service.
Casa Vila del Mar let themselves down by messing up a pizza, apologising, and then serving said pizza! Needless to say, it was sent back and not paid for. Shame, because we were looking forward to a nice restaurant almost on our doorstep, and while the rest of the dishes were nice, we were put off.
Sea.Bar.is was great for homeward bound cocktails!

Going home tomorrow and thought we needed to vote - we have been 6 times over the year - the port has been exceptionally busy - even now when the place usually starts to quieten down.
1. Can Cuarassa- Always excellant food and service - such a shame it closes now for the winter.
2. IRU- more extensive menu this year - food always good and service form Carlos attentive.
3. Miramar - Quirky service food OK - good for people watching.
4. Sol y Mar - great place for meeting friends and locals. Food never changes and always good.

One of our all time favourites is Clivia in Pollensa - we have known Louis the owner, for many years. Great choice of starters and fresh fish - especially the lubina is amazing.

That said the choice in PP is fantastic as well as eclectic, we tell all out friends to try something different but to make sure that they tell us if they find a hidden gem!!
Honourable mention also to Can Punyetes in Alcudia for wonderful inexpensive tapas often taken with more locals than tourists!!

1) La Llonja..Just pipped Stay to the post this year as the MDD was top notch!
2) Stay..still excellent value if you go for the MDD and great location
3) Little Italy.. busy, fun and the best pasta and location
4) Casa Vila di Mare..great addition to the Port
5) Marina Brasserie ...great breakfasts and great MDD with a fusion twist

1 stay - just such a great all round experience and fantastic value
2 marina - breakfast lunch and dinner - all excellent
3 brisa marina - are here this year for first time in ages and were not disappointed
4 casa villa - lunchtime me cannot be beaten
5 joint between little Italy and centric - different experiences but equally good

1. La Cabana......lovely freshly prepared food
2. Cellar la Parra......great food in quirky surroundings
3. Tango.....great value for money with really friendly staff
4. Stay.......good value set meal in a great position
5. Capri......can't get much better setting for a lovely lunch

Special mention to Dolce sa Pobla again for great lunches and also to C'an Balache for a great couple of meals. Also got to mention the meal we had in Mare Nostrum in Sa Pobla. It was fantastic.....well worth the drive!!
