My top 5
1) La Llonja..the MDD this year was fantastic...gets better and every year
2) Stay...a very close second. Always look forward to going and love everything
about it apart from the doors in the ladies loo!!!
3) Casa Vila di Mare...now our local and a great addition to the Port.
4/5) Joint position for Marina Brasserie and Little Italy.
Marina just fab for brunches, delicious fusion food and a great value MDD.
Little Italy for when we want to chill out by the beach with a bowl of
gorgeous pasta, red wine and service with a smile

My top 5 after visits in April and October
1 Celler La Parra - Consistently good Majorcan food at a very reasonable price. Very friendly staff.
2. Bar Coral - A favourite for nearly 30 years. Warmest of welcomes. The best shoulders of lamb IMO. Never disappoints.
3. Can Cuarassa - Extensive menu, well cooked and presented. Great service. A regular for luncheon and evenings too.
4. Centric - Good food and very friendly service. Shame Giovanni is now based in Pollenca!
5. Miramar - first time we have eaten there. Beautiful location, traditional service and reasonably priced menu, especially lunch times. We liked it so much we are spending the first few days of our holiday there next year!
Doesn't count I know but find of the holiday was Sa Cullera in Alcudia -The restaurant run by Gabriel and Joan ex Siller. Outstanding food and service. Lunch menu incredible value.

Just returned from our 4th visit this year. Fabulous eating places - most old favourites but a couple of new. Anyway out top 5 for the year:
1. Without doubt Ca'n Josep. I cannot think of a better mine host than Josep backed up by great staff and fabulous food. Great addition this year was his MDD at lunchtimes only in the summer but in the evening as well at this time of year.
2. Marina Brasserie. Superb Mediterranean food with and Asian twist.
3. Celler La Parra . Excellent local food, very reasonable with very good staff.
4. Stay. You just can't leave this Restuarant off any list for quality and setting.
5. Portofino. Find of the year only recently. Lovely Italian cuisine and friendly staff at excellent prices.
Disappointment of the year has to be Centric. After a promising start didn't live up to the hype it got. In the heat of the summer service and quality dropped in our opinion and we were significantly overcharged on one occasion. Will give it another go next year and we will see.

Well another years voting over & here are the final results.
1st. Stay - 115 points.
2nd. Ca'n Josep - 76 points.
3rd. Centric - 74 points.
4th. Cellar La Parra - 60 points.
5th. La Llonja - 55 points.
In total 58 restaurants were voted for with Stay back to the top again & the only place that has been in the top 5 for the last 7 years. On a personal note I am really pleased to see Ca'n Josep back in the top 5 & up to 2nd this year. Only thing left to say is thank you to all those that have taken the time to vote & roll on next year, especially as after a enforced two year absence I will be back visiting PP with the family & able to vote again myself. Really can't wait

Thanks for all that work again It is great to look at everyones choices and think I havent been there yet
Definately Can Josep on the list for next year We used to eat there when it was in the Port but since it moved we havent been to the new premises so will do so next year

Best restaurants
Very glad to see these results.......for us, 9 big ladies, Stay and Can Josep were streets ahead of the competition.....although some of our group adore Centric, I have never been that impressed. Thanks for organising a useful and interesting thread!
