..and why not just move the camera onto something else instead!!

Aha sws but they did move the camera a few hours after Victor/ Victoria went missing  It was moved to a different angle and not aimed onto the nest.

The next morning the webcam was down............The plot thickens ;)

Back to stork stalking! Dad was being very attentive this morning; extra preening on mum, bringing back soft moss and leaves and moving them all around her.
She then got up - probably getting fed up with all the poking around - and they both started gentle probing of the eggs.
Looks like there are 3 eggs in the nest.
Mum rolled them around a bit, tucked in some moss and sat down on them again, having a little wiggle to get comfortable!
Dad still moving one leaf from one side to the other and back again and cleaning mums wings!
Looks like one nervous dad to be!!:)

Yes - they seem a very happy couple don't they:) He is very attentive and affectionate - she is a lucky stork:)

Don't want to raise your hopes, but visiting their FB page, BVCF, they have pictures of a chick with its parents feeding it, I think it's victor!! :)

I hope you're right but the nest looks completely different - much more like a 'proper' nest than the last views on webcam:confused: Maybe they have had the builders in? Although I wish I were - I am still not convinced that this is Victor:(

Victor is on the move again, he is out of the nest for a little walk with mummy :D.

Or is it a drone vulture being remotely controlled by the CIA ;).

a little walk! he has gone, she did her best to stop him but he has disappeared across the pen out of sight!

They have panned the camera around so we can see more!!

Adopt a vulture

Just read that you can Adopt a Vulture - see Black Vulture Conservation Foundation (BVCF): Get Involved

"ADOPT A VULTURE
The BVCF also runs the Adopt a Mallorcan Vulture campaign in order to raise funds for our conservation work. Through activities like identification marking and radio tracking, we will be able to identify their feeding range, detect possible new nesting areas and find dead birds, which have possibly been killed by poison.
Anybody, individual, company or organisation, can adopt a Black Vulture. In return you will be able to give the bird a name of your choosing, and we will send you periodic information on your vulture, its movements and activities.
For further information, contact: Juan José Sánchez
e-mail: info.bvcf@gmail.com
Telephone: 00 34 971 51 66 20"

Now there's and idea for a birthday present, my son was asking what he could get me, he could adopt a vulture for me, how cool is that! :):):)

I've been out all day so only just seen the live feed on the webcam. Maybe it is a drone sparky because if that's Vic he hasn't half grown since last Saturday
