One of the babies is up and giving his wings a good old stretch :D
I've loved watching them and will be sad when they leave the nest!!

But it’s good to see a successful outcome after the sad barren years. And I love how housetrained they all are - always go to the edge of the nest when doing droppings 😀 just unfortunate if someone is passing below!

Two of the 'chicks' are doing a lot of jumping up and down and wing testing but the other is just sitting there - do hope it's ok Doh - as soon as posted this he is up and about!!!

The 'chicks' are looking rather fed up at the moment and the nest looks a mess with all sorts of rubbish and plastic on it. I really wish they would spread their wings and leave the nest now. Also wonder how they get liquids in all the really hot weather they have had to endure recently with no shade:(

It looked like the whole family yesterday - mum and dad visiting to see how there chicks were coping on their own:) Today just looked and seems like a lot of smoke in the foreground:confused:

they gone

9.43 uk time just checked the storks and the nest is empty lets hope mun and dad come back next year and the young ones live long and prosper.

The young ones still seem to be living there and just seen mum give them a feed of something:)

one is back

Today 13/01/2020 checked out the German stork web cam and a stork appears to be sorting the nest out

I'm surprised it actually holds water in the first place.

Amazingly well built though.
Let's hope storm Ciara or rather Sabine, as it's called in Germany, won't damage the nest

From Sparkys weather this morning: 'Buenos días mis amigos We have a pea souper this morning .'

The stork camera has a similar problem. Any volunteers to shin up the mast and give the camera a wipe over?
