Opposite Hardley's American Diner is a tree.
There is a hole in the tree.
In the hole is a book!
At the presentation of the cheque to the cancer charity this evening, two people took a photo of the book.
I asked one of the people what is was all about, and was told that it was a Catalan custom. You take the book, leave another and then repeat the process.
It's a tree library!!!
It seemed a great idea, but am I being taken for a ride? Does anyone else know anything about this?
I'm going to ask a Spanish friend when I see him, but does anyone on the forum know anything about this?
Cheers!
