Just behind the square has became my cafe of choice recently. The staff are great, the cakes are freshly baked and its a right wee suntrap in the morning and mid afternoon.

Ssssshh😉 Let's keep it a secret or we won't get a table. We love it there. One of the best coffees in the Port and the staff are super friendly.

Couldn't agree more. Cafe con leche and a decent sized custard or chocolate cake for 3 euros.

been using it for my toastie/fresh orange/cafe con leche for years now - staff are always great.

Favourite of ours as well particularly in the winter months

Sa pobla cafe

Used Sa Pobla for years. Great coffee and pastries. Super friendly staff. Great value. However stopped stopped going now - shabby tables and chairs, tired plastic plants on tables and cracked or chipped plates and cups. A shame, but needs some refurbishmentioned.

Also stopped using when short changed twice in succession.

I rarely use this cafe so i can't comment on the crockery but i do walk by it almost every day, yesterday i made a point of looking at the furniture and it all looked perfectly good to me .

We have used it for years too and don't have an issue with the furniture - I kind of like it if places aren't super-glossy and corporate, it gives them more atmosphere! I agree that their coffee is some of the best around.

Perhaps we should alert the Council to do a full chair inspection throughout the Port?
