Tony did tell me that in a few weeks, the card machine will be back. I don’t mind paying cash for two of us, (if I’m made aware in advance) but for a large family group it’s a real faff needing to have cash and, to be honest, I’d go somewhere else.

Most cards, unless their use is controlled, are only good for scraping the ice off car windscreens!

Indeed so. I use my card to clear the ice of the windscreen and pay contactless with my phone!

I'm not surprised, the Brits are becoming a cashless society these days and that will filter over to Mallorca.

It was only a temporary issue which is now resolved. The Spanish, French and Germans also use cards and phones extensively
