Cheap solution for staying connected on holiday

I purchased a Vodafone modem in the UK for £50 with one months subcription for another £20. I eventually manaed Vodafone to confirm that the modem was "unlocked" - it must be unlocked before you go on holiday. I purchased a PAYG data sim in Pollensa for 20 euros for 150 meg which was ample for c2 hours usage over 3 weeks. On return to UK I can still use original UK sim if I wish. If I'd used my UK sim in Spain it would cost £200 for the 3 weeks - quite a saving!
