Curry night at JK's

We had a " Lets be tourist " day today and went all the way down to Tamarells beach, i sat on the beach and hubby had a swim. BTW he said it was really quite warm. Called into the Golden Lion for a drink( plus free tapas) ok they are friends. We then went to El Ancla for a drink ( more free tapas) again they are friends. Then it was back to the Port and home for a siesta.
The sun had taken it's toll and we couldn't be bothered to cook, so we went to JK's and they have a curry night special on a Friday.
We had poppadums and pickles then hubby had Beef Balti with mushroom rice and i had Chicken Tikka Massala with mushroom rice all for €8.50 a head..........and i have to say, hand on heart, it was the best curry i have had in PP and hubby agreed, there are other choices including a veggie curry. The only Indian we have not tried is Mirch Massala but we will do one day.
But for us at the moment JK's is the tops for a curry. Thanks Jane.

It was great SWS and yes i did eventually unearth the swimwear, although hubby and speedos don't mix. However that is a story for the Tapas Bar.
So if any of you want to hear it you will have to join and i am not going to post it until 5 new members join up Sorry Pollensa i will understand if you delete this post.

Sounds like a lovely relaxing day and the weather seems to be perfect at the moment. Long may it last. I've walked past JKs many times but never actually been in. Will definitely have to call in for a drink (or two) in July. Wish it was sooner. Is the curry night a regular feature there?

Hi Linda, it is very friendly in Jk's and yes the Curry is on every friday night.

We are coming out to PP in August staying in the Gommar area whereabouts is JKs all of us enjoy a curry sounds worth a try!! Being new to PP dont know where all these places are in relation to where we are staying. cheers Juliexxx

JK's is on Ctra/ Formentor which is in the Port area, you are staying at the other end of town. If you look to the left of this page you will see "Once you're there, maps" click on it and then "Pinewalk area" and that should help you to find it, it is about a 15/20 minute walk from Gommar. Hope this helps.
