Update

Hotel Romantico is boarded up at the front and is clearly being stripped out. No sign of any activity at Ancla yet. Also no sign of Tango becoming Can Josep. Yet.

The last i heard they are not planning to open until March so plenty of time and the family have been enjoying their first Christmas off in about 40 years .

El Ancla will be sadly missed , along with their local customers !! The people in this bar were true characters who passed on to me many local tips & they also 'Took the Mickey' numerous times but it was all in very good fun I used the word 'Character' nothing that will replace El Ancla will substitute that ...

Sol y Mar is round the corner from El Ancla, towards the Pollensa Park.
Fingers crossed that the rumour about the move is true.
El Ancla was our "local"

Hi Folks, Don't hold your breath waiting on developments for El Ancla. The owners have not even been granted planning permission
