We are staying in PP right now (and it is lovely)..... a friend recommended El Coral as a family, good value restaurant. Could someone tell me where to find it?

I think you mean Bar Coral, it is a lovely restaurant, very friendly and good value.

To flesh out those directions a little.

Walk 'North' from the port area along the prom, keeping the bay on your right. Pass the Sis Pins, then still keep right next to the beach at the split with Corb Mari on it. Along the next stretch you'll pass the Bahia on your left. A little further there is a little jetty to your right. Just there, turn inland - Coral, Laroc, and the Monte Carlo shop are one row of buildings back from the seafront. If you keep heading inland there you'll find the start of the Cami Boquer - the Boquer Valley trail.
