Hey, I'm new to this forum but have been going to Puerto Pollensa for years with my family. We normally go to El Posito quite a lot but we didn't go this year because my dad wasn't too happy about the changes after Toni's parents retired. My sister was also ill one night after we'd been in- think it was just a bad mussel though! Anyway did someone say Toni is married? Who is he married to and when did he get married?

Re El Posito

He is married to a very nice Scottish lady. I'm afraid I don't know her name, but she was lovely.

Re: Re El Posito

Oh ok, thanks for the info. I'll be paying them a wee visit next time I'm in Pollensa!

Coming out to the port next week
Can someone give me directions
For El Posito restaurant
Many thanks

We ate at El Posito on Sunday night a few weeks ago. what a night that was!!! Caroline had to drag me out of the place!.
As usual Toni was the perfect host, Hiro the perfect waiter and the Cheif......the best. It's like comming home.
What a wonderful meal, what nice sangria Hiro makes it floats like a butterfly and kicks like a mule :lol . All this in a wonderful atmosphere.
What more could I ask for you ask? How about meeting new friends? well we did that! Diver Val and hubby (what a wonderful friendly nice couple) and Carlyn and her partner she was a scream!(Toni what a great Scottish family you have;) ). Now I hope she can remember everything she promised! Because I'm looking forward to reading your posts and chatting to you in the room!!!!!

Not happy to visit just once this time we headed back on the Thursday night to enjoy another meal in some wonderful company. What a great night.

Which was topped off with a romantic stroll along the pinewalk;)

Toni & Co well be back very soon so hide the herbes and Rioja!!!!!:rollin

Have to recommend El Positos set lunches, 7 euros midweek and 12 euros on sunday, including a bottle of wine.

Food and service is really good.

Thanks Toni, Angela and jimmy/jaimie/jero he tells me a different name every time I see him.
Also note last time I was in,Tango was open!!!!I don't just visit El Posito on a thursday as Toni insists lol.

I am looking forward to more visits to El Posito over the next week .
Will be rubbing shoulders with the good and great of PP
;)

Went to El Posito back in October. Met Snowy and PortFan and friends, and had a great time. Food and wine was good, plentiful and inexpensive. I loved the grilled baby squid as a starter. Next time, I'll ask if they can make it as a dinner entree.
