Could anyone tell me if they've been to El Posito restaurant and if so, what they thought of it?

Everything i like about a restaurant, fantastic Majorcan cuisene, 5 star cook,great service and a wonderful blend of visitor/locals. Considering the quality very reasonable too! It's PP under one small roof.

update on el posito

Tony who runs it and his english wife who is in the kitchen have the best fresh food which is excellent. no grumbles except a little moan that they are too efficient. Your main course arrives within a few mins of finishing your starter so Tell him when you order if you like me like a bit of a break.Apart from that never had a bad meal, always the same excellence.

El Posito is great for lunchtime menu del dia - cheap and fast service for the workers is its purpose so that is why you can sometimes feel hurried but I agree - just tell Toni or Pedro that you are not in a rush and to give you a breather between courses and its fine. However, I highly recommend the evenings when it is relaxing with the local specialities of the day the best bet. We have always had fab meals there - hard working Mallorcan couple in the kitchen who really know there stuff and great English guy behind the bar who is fun. BON APETIT.
