Flights from States

I wonder if anyone can help here? Did I read that Palma airport were building a new runway to accept direct flights from America?

I have tried to find this info without luck. Does anyone know anything about this?

Be great to introduce husbands family to PP! (I think?)

Yes, eleanor, it was in one of my Reads posts.
The driver that took us back to the airport has a member of his family who works at there, and they have said that part of the airport has already been started to be redesigned for a terminal to accept flights to and from the USA.

No date of completion yet given though.
