We spoke to Klaus and Terese last saturday before we left -they said it was a difficult decision but they need to spend more time with their children and families..Terese had already been offered a new position in another job and Klaus will be working in the family business.
They are a fabulous people , have worked extremely hard and built a very good reputation in a very short time - I am sure a lot of people will be very sorry to see them go.I wish them well for the future

Just returned from PP and ate in G & G on 2 occasions. The first night Teresa sang while we waited on our food arriving....she is excellent! Everything that we had to eat that night was first class and the service and friendliness of Teresa was second to none. We intended to eat there last night (Friday) before leaving for the airport (we needed to leave PP around 7.30pm) Unfortunately when we arrived the restaurant was closed. After walking around for half an hour or so we returned and found that the door was open and the chef was setting tables. It was now around 5.40pm and I asked when the restaurant opened and explained that we were in a bit of a rush as we had to leave for the aiport. He took our order and asked us to return at 6pm (when the restaurant opened) and he would have our food ready for us. If this is not fantastic service then I don't know what is. Klaus arrived just a few moments after us and we had a lovely chat to both him and the chef. Unfortunately as has been said they are closing at the end of next week to return home with the intention of spending more time together as a family. It is sad to see a great restaurant such as this close so soon after opening but as Klaus says....the family must come first. Maybe someday they will return and open up another place...we can only hope so!!! Best of luck to all of them whatever they do:):)

I'm so sorry to hear of another good place in PP closing down. I've never been to G&G but it was definitely on my must-do list for next year.
What a shame. I do hope not too many more places find it a struggle to make a decent living in PP. What is happening to the place?

Tony it is the recession, not enough people have come and spent their money. I am sure many places are closing down all over the world and not just in PP but for the record, Los Pecadores actually had a good summer it is only closing because the owner of the building wants to turn it into a block of flats. :(.
