Hello all,
Sunday night I had dinner with clients in GURU and as always it was excellent and busy. I tried chicken fillet with a mango sauce instead of my old favourite of mandarin sauce and it was very very tasty. (Almost as good as their duck with cherry sauce which I love). Friends had the fresh salmon and the chicken stir fry both of which were first class. Fruity desert of Mandarin sorbet which just slides down and cools the body nicely and my friends could not resist the spicy pears. All washed down with a house rose and lots of water. As always attentive friendly staff and a big hug from Concepcion and Ramon who run the show. Bill was under 70€ for three of us. This restaurant never fails to deliver and has an excellent set menu at lunchtimes.

Thanks for the review Jan.

We have not tried GURU before, your description sounded most enjoyable. Glad to see you are back in PP after such a hectic and enjoyable time.

Keep posting....Thanks

Great report, I must say we have never had a disappointing meal at Guru, always lovely food and a friendlier welcome you will not find in the port.

Again we weren't disappointed with our trip to Guru, a friendly welcome, they remembered us from before and great food, its just reliable and the type of place you go to when you just want to eat good food. We had a range of tapas which as usual were fantastic, a nice mix of Spanish/local and English families, very busy but as always the service was great.
The waitress who has been there form the start I think who was pregnant last year has had her baby, a little girl, so I guessed right, she is back at work and her and the baby are very well.
We called in to Tiberi as well, the sister restaurant to here, we must say we were slightly disappointed with it, Guru seems to have taken over from it with great food and lots of attentive staff like Tiberi used to have, so maybe they need to change the menu and update the place now.

Just to let you know that Guru and Tiberi are no longer connected.

Thanks Stevo, didn't know that, good to clear it up!
