I would agree from your experience.

From 2 visits from the main menu we had 2 Sea Bass, 1 John Dory and 1 Lamb Cutlets, all excellent.
We normally eat from Main Menus at Faroles, Brisa Marina, La Parra, Can Ferrer and La Llonga all different but excellent.

Well we went on Sunday evening and ordered off the set menu. Nice furniture, friendly waiters and the interior looks nice for the cooler times.

Bread olives, alioli and tomato was top quality
Watermelon Gazpacho on par with Stay
Sea Bream was good but my suckling pig was small and a bit dry.
Dessert was okayish.

Area a bit quiet, so not much buzz.

20.90 which if compared with La Llonja you get the additional:

Water
1/2 bottle of wine
coffee/choc
Liquer
Nicer setting

SoI think Hibiscus is a good option if you're on a low budget, but Stay & La Lonja still ruling the roost with the menus of the week.

Went again tonight as Debs wanted to go. Much better and food excellent. More in my trip report when I get round to doing it.
By the way, the sky was weirdly satanic tonight, like the end of the world was nigh.

We went twice in the end. First time we went a la carte as I had to try the much acclaimed Frito mallorquin … it was the best I’ve ever tasted! We also tried the menu del dia which was fantastic value at 21€. The food and service on both occasions was excellent, and the new manager is really working hard to get it just right. Will certainly return in September.
