Hole in the wall machine (getting money out)

Hi all, i am pleased to see that as i am a Nationwide debit card holder taking money out abroad is the best on the market! (so says the money guru on GMTV) If i do need to withdrawl some cash where in PP or old town can i do it? My card is a standard UK 'Link' type which over here i can use virtuallt everywhere. And is it as simple as over here, put in machine, type in pin, select service and BINGO or should i be aware of something else? Does the machine communicate in Spanish - will it know i'm English therefore it's commands are in English? the last thing i'll need is my only card being chewed! All help greatfully appreciated.

There are many holes in the wall in the center of PP and I think they all except Link. They work exactly the same as in the UK , but you do have to tell the machine your English otherwise it will communicate in Spanish! (easily done by the press of a button!!)

I work out of the UK most weeks, and have used Nationwide for years, there are no catches, the ATM's all over PP accept the Nationwide card and there are no extra charges levied. All transactions can be done in English, you are offered a language choice at the beginning of each transaction.

TBH I am baffled why anyone would do anything other than have a wee Nationwide account for holiday funds, its

Does anyone know currently what exchange rate they are getting from the hole in the wall?????

Don't know the current rate, but you will be asked if you want to be billed in sterling or euros. Select euros (If you are using a sterling account) The rate will be very good
