Hotel Don Pedro

I see that the Don Pedro in CSV is being upgraded to 4* and will be adults only when it reopens.

Does anyone know any more? What about the Simar next door, which reopened last summer after being closed for several years?

It's not being knocked down, just refurbished, according to the hotel's website. There are artist's impressions of the new rooms, which will include air con and wifi. I agree it would take a complete refit to gain the extra star, but they are taking bookings for this summer.

Just a point - don't know if it makes a difference to the information - the TA post was from 2010.

Having done a bit of a search, the Don Pedro is now called the Sentido Don Pedro and is, as reported, now an adults only hotel (minimum age 16). The Simar is now being run by Hoteles Globales.

Both are taking summer bookings.
