i'm a newbie - any tips?

never been to PP before & going this week. Any vital tips? especially since we're travelling our babyfor the 1st time !! :\

think out apartment (playamar)is a bit of a walk - am I gonna need my walking boots?

AH, Gem, I realy envy you, the first time is so exciting!! Im not too sure where you apartments are, although I have heard of them and Im sure you will get more responses about distances etc. Having the baby with you will be no problem whatsoever, we have been with babies for many years - I remember it well. No problem with getting anything for them at the supermarkets, and all restaurants are friendly towards babies!! Im sure you will have a wonderful time and look forward to your reports as a "fresh" pair of eyes. Why dont you take a notebook and just jot down a mini diary to remind you of things - thats if you have time with the baby that is!! Have a great holiday.

hi gem,
if you're staying at the playamar hotel then you are right at the end of pinewalk near the military base. you won't need hiking boots, but itis a fair walk to the square. hope you have a great holiday, its a lovely time to come to pp (if you don't mind the sea being a little cold!)

Welcome to the forum, i went to PP for the first time last year so i,m sure your going to love it.
As chris said, its a fair walk to the centre from your apts
(15 to 20 mins depending on how fast the baby buggy is:lol )
but it is along the beautiful pine walk, a beautiful walk with lovely restaurants & bars

If you need any more help, dont hesitate to ask. Theres always someone to help you on here.

Don't be put off by the 15/20 min walk, if you go via the Pine-Walk it really is bliss. Anyway, the apartments are very modern and well designed, i doubt if you would even want to move most days.

Hi,

We've been to Playa Mar 4 years on the run, you'll love it. Pine Walk is made of cobbles and so a bit of a pain at first for buggy wheels but you'll soon get used to it. Have a great time.
