Probably not a title you expected to see - let me explain.

I know it was a silly thing to do but when returning to Palma last week after a short trip to the UK I inadvertantly left a small torque wrench in my hand luggage instead of packing it in the hold case. Needless to say it was picked up at the hand baggage scan and removed, but instead of conviscating it the Security Officer suggested that I take it back to check in and ask for it to be put in my hold bag. I wasn't confident that this would work but I had plenty of time so thought I might aswell give it a try. Check in sent me to the Ryanair ticket desk who without hesitation got on the phone to Baggage Dispatch and asked that my case be sent back up to check in. Ten minutes later it arrived, I put the wrench inside and sent it back down. Full marks to Ryanair for customer service.

Now that's not something you hear often!

Mind you, we can't have passengers unscrewing seats and throwing them around the plane, can we?! LOL. Risky things torque wrenches.

Lovely to hear a happy story - surprised they didn't charge you £40 though haha

Personally, I am fascinated by the contents of Deanscroft's bag.

"I inadvertently left a small torque wrench in my hand luggage"

Never one of my top-ten holiday essentials, I confess, but then-again, I've never seen a decent B&Q in the north of the island.
