Jelly fish situation?

Hi,

Me and my family is going to Puerto Pollensa at the end of october. I have a quick question regarding the current jelly fish situation around Puerto Pollensa?
Is there a lot or just a few?

I haven't heard many reports about jelly fish this year and I don't think it's possible to forecast, what the situation would be at the end of October.
It'd depend on water temperature, wind direction and sea currents.

Johan, I was out a few weeks ago and there were a few ‘fried egg’ jellyfish. I checked them out and they look to be harmless. I understand they appear late in the season, whether still around at end of October I don’t know.

Just got back last night and didn't see any mention of jellyfish on Tamarells beach, unlike earlier in the season. Quite a lot of swimmers too.
