Restaurants doing things without permission reminds me of the time a few years ago when a huge statue of a Red Indian Chief suddenly appeared outside an eating place on the start of Pine Walk's narrow footpath. (It seemed to take eons for the authorities to have it removed)

Please do not start on about statues, red, white, pink or blue being removed!!!
No I am not " woke " whatever that means.

That's a shame. It is always sad when a restaurant closes down but unfortunately I am not too surprised. When we were in PP in June there never seemed to be more than 5 tables taken whenever we walked past.
The restaurant is huge so suspect anyone looking to open up there faces a challenge.

When it was the original C’an Josep it attracted a healthy trade. When Josep moved to his current premises I thought he was frankly bonkers taking on such a huge place so far out of town. How wrong I was. Still going strong and at Sunday lunchtimes packed out with locals and tourists, and popular for weddings and special events. I guess you attract the customers you deserve, irrespective of location.
