In ten years have only ever eaten once in Maxims, food was fine and once only in La Piazza two years back , again at the time enjoyed what we had. Last year one night in Kashmir and facing to La Piazza couldn't help notice the service in LP seemed a bit frenetic, despite plenty waiters.
In general not a fan of the square for dinner though do like Bar Cultural, at just about any time.
Just about two years ago exactly I'd heard of a new place called C'an Tanqueros, I've looked for it on visits and a few others have too, but never found it.:lol :lol
I'm just wondering if it was a training school for waiting staff. If so it seems to work very effectively.
Pleased to report that we visited La Piazza once and Maxims twice during our recent holiday and found the service was very good and the staff were very friendly, food was excellent, maybe someone from the management has been reading this website
We ate at Maxim's with Timberman and his wife and had a great evening. It was busy, but the waitress who looked after us was friendly and efficient and asked us if we wanted bread and olives!
The food was delicious - I had the lamb shoulder and it was perfectly cooked.
I couldn't complain about a thing - great food, great company!
