Has anyone stayed at these apartments lately? We are going next week and have become a bit concerned at all the reviews mentioning ants! Can anyone report back on how bad the problem is?

I am afraid that at this time of year ants can be a problem everywhere, we had our first ones a couple of days ago, Baygon is great stuff (kills them instantly) spray it around doors and windows and he keeps them away for ages.

Hi, It was on tripadvisor. Lots of people mentioning them, although about 85% of people have given the apartments 4 or 5 stars so I'm thinking they can't be that bad.

Just concerned as never took a baby away before and getting a bit paranoid about it!

We were on the ground floor in June and ants in the room were not a problem. You will see some on the patio but a spray is provided in the room. Enjoy your holiday

Don't worry, ants are no real problem atall. I use powder as and when, and not that often, and it does the job instantly. You can find it in most places.

Stayed there a couple of times over the years, although not recently, and yes, the ants were a problem - in the gardens. But nothing in the rooms - unless you left something sweet opened, in which case you would be asking for trouble!

You will see ants anywhere in the Port, but if in a building they can usually be controlled by powder / spray.

Otherwise excellent apartments, albeit a bit of a walk onto the centre.

Well, just got back and no ants in the apartment at all, one minor attack on the balcony but that was swiftly dealt with. Some by the pool but again just sprayed them and it got rid of them. The apartments were excellent.
