Hi all,

I am looking to book the llenyater villa for september, but am worried about it being pretty much next door to the recycling plant. if anyone has stayed there it would be great to hear what it was like.

Thanks

Tom

Thank you Bella. Yes, I saw that thread the other day. But the person who asked the question and then booked the villa didn't say what it was like, so I was just seeing if anyone else had stayed there.

Hi there

Twas us who stayed in Llenyater last year. We too were worried about the proximity of the re-cycling facility, but with the exception of a couple of mornings when they seemed to start very early, it was no problem at all. Also extremely handy for your own re-cycling!

Unless a lot has changed since last July, it's a very peaceful property - villa to the right is owner occupied, there are a few goats in the field at the back and the re-cycling to the left, so we were quite happy with that

Llenyater is a lovely villa, and we would have stayed there again this year but it was already booked when we enquired. Very high spec, extremely comfy sunbeds, lovely pool, comfy bed, walkable into town - although take a torch as there are no pavements on the lane to the roundabout.

We will be back in Pollenca later this year - can't wait :)

Hope that helps but do ask again if you have any specific questions.

Regards

Vicky

Hi Tom
We stayed there last year, and wouldn't hesitate in going back. Yes, the recycling centre is "next door", which sounds off putting, but it wasn't a big issue. Never experienced any bad smells, either, despite it being the middle of August and v. hot!. Although open most of the day, most "deliveries" were early morning (around 4.30am!) but it's amazing how you get used to the noise. The villa is stunning, with a fantastic pool, and a superb outside covered area with sofas etc. - was like sitting in a lounge, but it was outside! The road is fairly busy, with no pavement, but as it's quite twisty in places car speeds are not excessive. You would need a torch, though.
Like I said, I wouldn't hesitate in returning. Enjoy!
