Mallorca Food Festival

Just to let all the food buffs out there know that you can enjoy the Mallorca Food Festival. It is on from the 4th - 8 May and 11th to 15th.
Great value - three courses for 14 euro max and that includes, bread and a copa de vino. You need to book though as they have "sittings".

A few restaurant in the Port participating - Corb Mari, Brisas, Real Club Nautica, Celler La Para, Los Z, and IRU

We went to Celler la Parra last year to support this lovely festival, unfortunately we were disappointed, it wasn't their fault in fact they were not happy either. The thing was that the participating restaurants were told which dishes they had to serve and although i can't remember what was on their menu, we did not fancy any of it . The weather that night was absolutely awful so rather than go elsewhere we stayed and ate from their normal menu, no complaints, the food and service was as good as always and at a reasonable price.
I don't know if it will be the same format this year but would suggest checking up on what each restaurant is serving first.
