Maricel Apartments

Just come back from PP and had a great time, we stayed in the Maricel Apts which were really good and really clean. We originally booked a room with a road view but the noise was so bad we changed the second week and upgraded to a pool view- this made a huge difference at night time.
The bin men actually empty the bins, both rubbish bins and bottle bins, at 2am!

Anyway great apartments, very central but the ones on the road side are very noisy.

We also have not long returned form staying in the Maricel road side apt - totally agree very noisy with bin men especially when emptying the bottle bins basically that road is a service road for all the restaurants on that area of pine walk also all the accomodation on that road bit of a nightmare at times ! Also lot of noise from transport picking up / dropping off people particularly on transfer days Saturdays were awful. Anyway sorry to whinge we still had a great holiday and it did not keep us awake for any length of time I think the wine we drank at night took care of that however I would certainly not stay there again - nice enough apartments very small kitchen area , comfy beds , excellent cleaning however I think overpriced. And disappointly for us the pool was always very busy. We had booked these thinking small accomodation perhaps the pool would not be mega busy every day we were wrong ! Never mind you live and learn as I say PP was still wonderful and we have another set of great holiday memories.

Im amazed Elaine we sometines didnt come round the pool until 11am and still got 5 sunbeds!
