Hi just woundered if anyone has stayed at these apartments or knows about them! we are looking to stay there in late august and wanted to know a bit more about them as i cant find anything on them except there website and im a bit worried that it might be a con!! they are at the end of pine walk near the marina, any information from anyone would be great, thanks in advance

They are definately not a 'con' - I haven't stayed there but have been to look around - unfortunately there were no vacancies for the time I wanted to book. The apartments that look out over the pinewalk have fab views of the whole bay.
I hope that SlipalongandLola see your post as I know they stay at these apartments and I'm sure they could give you all the information and reassurance you might need.

Slipalong and Lola were very helpful to us on our 'disaster' holiday last year.
We visited them in one of the apartments and it was absolutely lovely.
I wouldn't think that you could go wrong booking there.

The Marina apartments are in a fantastic postition but I have been told very recently that the decor and furniture etc is quite tired, dated and basic. It wouldn't particularly bother me for a holiday though - the view from the balcony would more than make up for that
However, if the beds are very uncomfortable.... that might make me a bit grumpy

Thankyou all very much for replying, its good to know other peoples opinions, they do look a bit dated but its only for a base and as you say the view more than makes up for it, i have spoken to Pep the manager and he is very helpful so hopefully fingers crossed these apartments will be ok its just our teenage children we need to entertain now, again if there is anyone on here that has stayed there please give us your views on the apartments and once again thankyou all for replying.

Hi there, we stayed at Marina for a month last year and are booked for a month this year and next. Ok. the funiture may be a bit dated but the appts are clean with views to die for and Pep is really helpfull. We have booked for 8 of our friends to stay there this year and many last year and not one complaint. If you have any problems Pep sorts them straight away, no fuss. We have been going to P.P for 10 yrs now and Marina is by far the best all round deal we have found, real value for money and a great location.

Marina Apartments

I am considering booking the Marina, there is an option for apartment facing the street. I'm trying to figure out exactly what the rear of the apartments
looks onto. Can anyone help?

Hi ,the rear facing appts are on the Carrera Formentor and look directly into the buildings on the opposite side of the road.Apart from these (I think tere are 4 ) all rooms are facing the bay and by far the better option. Roll on Sunday lets get there.

Hi Tommo,we are there now, great view, great weather and in the apartment we love. Thanks for your kind wishes and can only say if the next 28 days is like today we cant go wrong. Just off to the square for suckling pig at Mojitos and a coool Zambooka at Boneys to follow. Living the dream
