Rab, Has this site now reached the point where one is no longer aloud to voice an opinion. Correct me if i'm wrong but i thought that was the whole point. Having read your post's in the past i see you have voiced plenty of negative comments on establishments.

Of course you are allowed an opinion PF. If you had been in the place and commented that the beer was rubbish or the service poor then I could have accepted that. But to have an opinion on the colour scheme just because its not your taste.............

Rab, Now i get it. You are only allowed to comment on the quality of whats on offer inside. Silly me!!!. Also noticed someone made similar comments to me in an earlier post in this thread and you said nothing. .Ps. one of your recent post's was on the location of an establishment and signs you did not like in the square. What have either of those got to do with what's on offer. Double standards old chap. Pot, Kettle. And dare i say BLACK. come to mind.

My son was over in PP late July and loves his football, he wanted to catch a couple of his teams pre-season games and early Euro ties which were not available on Sky or the other usual channels, the bar staff at the Sports Bar went to great lenghts to get them on obscure channels, they got them for him (and a few others). Service to the holidaymaker is not always served on a tray. I doubt if i will ever use the place, but it definately serves the needs of many and does no harm.

Actually, having been dead against it before I went in there my opinion has changed. It's not a bd little place and when I am ove rI head down there with the local rugby lads after training. As with most things, give it a go and vote with your feet!

Rangers, May i urge you to read my post again. At no time did i comment as to what it was offering. My comment was about the colour black, not as to wheather i would use it or not. Anyone who thinks that looks good in the general setting needs to go to specksavers. As for the remark "It's the run down parts you should be focusing on" Did that more than once and got ripped to shreds. Just goes to show you can't win.

I did read your post and my comment was a general comment of if you dont like dont go in it was not aimed at you or anyone else it was a general comment.

Regarding the run down parts some people need to take the rose coloured specs off.

Kate, How right you are about extremes of opinion. The only problem is some folk don't want you to post an opinion as you will see from the reaction to my post. It's such a shame that this is the case as it stops a lot more people from posting for fear of the reaction they will get.One person say's iv'e only got the right to comment on whats on offer inside. Check his old post's and you will find a list of negative comments on places that had nothing to do with food or drink. It beggars belief. Rangers replied his comment's were not aimed at me. I challenge anyone to read his reaction to my post and tell me that was the case considering the post 's in front of mine were not being critical.

Well indeed it was not about you but there were comments on the offerings and prices of drinks etc before your post so i suggest you read from page 1.

You are right that this type of post stops people posting and when you do post people have a go so thats me finished like alot of others that were on here i will be viewing from a distance.
