Re: Music

Hello Rob!

Whilst tackling a huge pile of ironing this morning I listened to VH1.

Dancing to music is very hard when you're ironing but I did note these for your Summer CD:

The La's - There She Goes
U2 - Beautiful Day
REM - Shiny Happy People.

Hope they pass muster!!

Regards
Jane:D

Re: Summer Nights

Shall I be cormy & suggest 'Summer Nights" (from Grease) - I have to admit to seeing the premiere of the film in London.

Re: Summer Nights

Well Jane those tracks pass the muster8) but does your dodgy dancing?:rollin

Pollensa My youngest daughter di Grease in her School show 2 years ago, For months it was the only music and DVD that could be seen and heard. The end result was so well worth it!. So we too can confess to having been to premiere show of Grease :rollin
More please :lol

Re: Summer Nights

'Being nobody' by liberty x is excellent,it was done originally by someone years ago,but i have forgotten,it goes
Aint nobody loves me better, makes me happy makes me feel this way,do you know the one, definately happy music,oh and how about 'Just alittle' by Liberty X as well,if any body remembers those lyrics, sexy, everything about you's so sexy,i had a partial knee replacement nearly three years ago and while i was in the hospital,my wondeful daughters thought it hilarious to sing it to me while i was wandering about with the lovely white post op stockings on,so now when ever we hear this song,we think its highly amusing, its also good summer singing, especially after a few glasses.

Re: Summer Nights

Hello Tresspass

I think the song you mentioned was originally recorded by Chaka Khan.

If it is that one I was about 14/15 years old at the time and had a massive crush on one of the PE Teachers at school!!:rollin

I still like the song to this day and it brings back some happy school memories!!

Re: Music

Hi Robjay

Was just thinking as I was driving in my car today about songs that reminded me of PP and I suddenly thought of Madonna ..the song is called La Isla Bonita. In fact, and this is REALLY embarrassing, I once sang it at a karaoke night at the Villa Concha :\ I didn't want to do it but you know how it is.. the kids were young .. they begged me.. I didn't want to let them down.. honestly I was forced onto the stage!!:D

It must be included on your PP cd unless of course you'd like my version!!
