Re: Music

OK Rob, I will!!

How about Texas and "Inner Smile"?

This song reminds me of a holiday in France when I took the Texas album with us in the car and that was all. I just have to listen to this track and I'm back in the beautiful French countryside.

I love the music too and thinking of PP and my friends on the forum always lights up my "inner smile"!

Re: Music

Oh Rob!!

Just thought of another one!!

"Perfect Day" by Duran Duran but re-released by various artists?

The mention of drinking "Sangria in the park" does it for me!

Re: Music

Just come back from a party and what got every one up dancing? my request of songs from Grease. Got every one in a summery party mood. summer nights and your the one that I want bring back happy memories from my early teens.
Also my husbands request of build me up buttercup. we certainly got the party going. Actually, I can admit to being the first one on the dance floor. Not unusual tho I must say.
I like a party. (once it gets going)

Well Jane I've got your "inner smile" at the thought of "sangria in the park",and yes it would be a "perfect day" sharing it with our friends from the forum.
Nice warm thoughts here.
Take care.

New Richard Thompson album, "Front Parlour Ballads" released today on Cooking Vinyl, available from Amazon for £9.99.

As Robin Denslowe said in his review in Friday's Guardian, "Our very own Bob Dylan!!"

Re: Music

HI everyone, just trying to think of obscure holiday songs, anyone remember la dolce vita, don't know the artist, out on holiday approx 1983. What about naff holiday songs I'll start with the birdie song, can you think of any others?

Music for Puerto Pollensa ***UPDATE***

I sat down the other day and wrote down all the suggestions for the CD.
We have enough for atleast 3 CD's!!!!!. couldn't find 2 tracks but burned the rest onto a CD 3hours+ lol. We now have a CD to play that is full of everybody's memories.

If I ever get round to burning a "normal" CD i'll let you know ;) .

Now to try and get some more Chilled out tracks. Please suggest some on the Chilled out thread.

Thanks again.

Rob

Re: Music for Puerto Pollensa ***UPDATE***

Hey Rob, just returned from the Pascalino's get together and Jane gave me one of your CD's. It was really thoughtful of you to go to all that trouble. Thanks very much indeed. Just bought the accoustic version of Jagged Little Pill (Alanis Morissette) and some of them would be good for the next one.!!;)
We had a great time and looking forward to Saturday at Balaixa, sorry you won't be there. Also sorry we didn't make Tango on Saturday, wish now we had come as the place we went to was a bit disapointing.
Thanks again
Nick

Re: Music for Puerto Pollensa ***UPDATE***

Got a copy of the CD at the PP get together at Pascalinos and will retain the image of driving down the Alcudia road late at night playing 'Smooth' by Santana, after a mega wonderful meal at Las Zarzales.

Sitting here now with the headphones on - trying to write 6,000 words on Young People with Disabilities and Transition to Adult Services still haven't tackled all the ironing from the holiday and back to work tomorrow - ah well - back to reality.

Re: Music for Puerto Pollensa ***UPDATE***

Chiara19, i'm so glad you like the CD.
As for the 6.000 words, caroline and my middle daughter could help you as for the ironing i'm you man.
