It is owned by the Tex Mex group but is definitely not Tex Mex,it is a franchised steak house whose name escapes me begins with S will write it down next time I pass!!!! Menu is different to the Tex Mex, but it is furnished in the same way I guess. Has a model newspaper seller in the doorway instead of an Indian.
I really cant see what all the fuss is about. This place is a welcome addition to PP in my opinion. Brand new, modern, classy (apart from the wee news paper guy), warm in temperature, ambience and welcome.
Really guys whats not to like? The night we were in I think it must have been their official opening night there were that many locals about pressing flesh. Glasses of cava and canapes were getting passed about aplenty, even to us plebs!!
I had a fillet steak, the wee man a T-Bone. Both served exactly as requested at a decent pace and with plenty of smiles. The wee guy who used to work in The Taj has got a gig in here and looked after us superbly. Cant remember the exact bill but the fillet was about 18 euros and the t-bone 21 euros I think.
This is a brilliant addition to PP and those who poo pooed it really should try it and offer an apology to Mr Texxyy
