Newcastle/Palma flights

Has anyone who departs from Newcastle tried to book flights in the winter months with Easyjet, from 31st October until next spring. There seems to be no flights at all.!

They had a real shake up last year, and I think that airport was one where they cut back pretty heavily.

Newcastle flights

Until last year Jet2 ended their Newcastle-Palma flights at the end of the school 1/2 term October hols but Easyjet had a daily flight throughout the Winter months. In September last year Easyjet anounced some flight cuts and reduced the frequency to about 2 or 3 flights a week between October and Easter. They put their Spring/Summer flights out on sale in the first week of November. Newcastle was one of the last routes to go on sale.

I'm not sure what their plans are but we are also hoping that the Winter flights will be anounced in the next few weeks to Palma.

I do hpe they can give us a service to Palma from Newcastle even if its only twice a week or so. Especially when Jet2 no longer fly in the winter. Many thanks for your comments.

Newcastle-Palma flights

Hi Val and any other northern travellers. I've just noticed that Easyjet have 'loaded up' the drop down dates for winter flights from Newcastle. You still can't actually book them yet but I think this is the first step when they are about to release flights. Fingers crossed eh?

Not looking too good from Newcastle

Despite my earlier optimistic post on Easyjet flights from Newcastle over the winter period there is still no availability after 31st October. They cut flights last year over this period from Daily to 3 days per week but it looks increasingly like they've decided to cut all winter flights to Palma!
