I would quite like to hire a car for a few days in June but do not want to have it standing around doing nothing for days while we chill out. Ideally I would like to collect the car at the airport and return it in Puerto Pollensa 3 or 4 days later.

Does anyone know of any companies we could do this with and if you have previous experiencies of one way rental please will you share them with me?

Many thanks

Debbie

I think if you check out a few car hire companies, they usually have an option of different drop off locations - might be worth a bit of 'research':)

Good luck:)

Hiper car hire have cars at their depot by the airport and also an office in Puerto Pollensa so I expect that they could do you a one way hire.

Alternatively, you could catch one of the many shuttle bus services up to Puerto Pollensa from the airport, like Resorthoppa, Resorttaxis or A2Btransfers and then hire a car locally when you are in Puerto Pollensa for the amount of days you fancy.

I know nearly all companies let you rent here in the Port and return at the airport, so I don´t see a problem doing it in reverse ! Lagoon, Hyper, Ibcar all have offices here so maybe drop them an email and I´m sure they will be glad of the business

Good luck

I'm fairly sure Motos Formentor also let you do this - they are based in PP and don't actually have an office at the airport - all paperwork etc is done in the car park, saving loads of time as there is no queuing.

Many thanks for all your advice.

I've had a little look at some places but think we may stick with the lovely Jose from Taxis Conde as we usually do.

As mentioned it's just a chilling holiday - the sightseeing has all been done before, so as the car wouldn't get too much use it's not worth the extra expense.

Thanks again for the information though

Debbie
