wish I didnt have to add to this....
OH is serious steak man and in the past has always said the steaks in Eolo's were one of the best in the port and having sampled his, have to agree, that for the way OH likes his steaks, they were very good.
I got my first taste of a Carbonara pizza in Eolo's and loved it so much, came home and started learning how to make this myself and it is now a fave with friends and family. (tho cheat and use a bought carbonara sauce, tho son has recently been trying to make his own sauce and had told me of the pitfalls)
Last week, we ate in Eolo's, me Pizza Carbonara and OH, steak.
Steak dish, presentation was exc. but lost was the usual flavour.
Pizza... did'nt look right. On tasting the pizza, the sauce had gone wrong... apparently if u add the egg at too high a temp, u end up with scrambled egg instead of carbonara... and that is what I had and the rest of the toppings were decidely lite !
We did tell Angelo, and he said it was the pizza mans' nite off and our drinks weren't charged for....but I was so disappointed.
I will go back and try the pizza again... but if it fails to please, then that will be it... u can only take loyaly so far.

We ordered some pizzas to be delivered to out apt, from Eolo's, the last time we were in PP, 2 years ago, and i must say, as a pizza expert , they were horrible. Too thin, not enough toppings and tasteless
. needless to say, i will not be ordering from them again. And to make things worse, they said it would arrive in 30 mins and for me to wait outside the apt. I waited outside for an HOUR! And then he had the cheek to put his hand out for a tip!

When my daughter and her friend were over they used to use it quite a bit, they were 16at the time, the waiters were very nice to them at first then totally ignored them, she always wondered what they'ed done wrong! Looks like it was just surly service, must let her know.
