Possibly a silly question about bus to Palma

Hi,
About to return to PP next week and we want to visit Palma for the first time. Can anyone tell me if we stay on the bus to the terminus to visit Palma old town and also is the stop for the return bus opposite where we get off. Thanks to anyone who can help

You could look up "Buses and Trains" under "Once You're There" in the blue column on the left hand side of this page (and other forum pages for that matter) 3rd section down.
This gives bus timetables AND bus route maps with stops, etc. Also info regarding the Bus Companies web-sites for other information - all very useful. (Well informed forum!)

Hi micky, not silly at all, the bus from PP terminates at the underground bus station in Palma, it also leaves from here for PP too, the same bay you get dropped off at. Head out of the station up the escalators and you are in the center of Palma at the Plaza de Espana, then use a guide book to get around, but if you head straight across the big crossing and just keep going, that heads to the old town and the cathedral, hope that helps.

Thank you so much for your reply sws97sdg , which was just what I needed to know having been caught out before in Nice where the return bus stop was quite along way from the terminus! Having had a knee replacement I have to make sure I know where the stops are as can only walk a certain distance. Looking forward to visiting Majorca again
