PP is winding down.

Well i have seen the first signs that the port is starting to wind down, beds and brollies are being gradually removed and the Red Cross/lifeguards have gone.

Coming over with friends and I have raved about Nostalgia and The Hustlers at OHaras so hope things don't wind down so much that these places are too quiet

Nostalgia are still open and are going to have a halloween party but will be closed the first 2 weeks in November.
I was told that the Hustlers thought they were finishing in O'Haras last week but were told they want them to carry on...not sure how long for though.

Amazing isn't it, that the beds and brollies are getting removed.

Doesn't the council realise people come on holiday in October too, and spend their money in the port. early and late visitors are just as entitled to the same facilities as in high season.

And Sparky, I don't envy your job next week re the weather.

On first visit for two years, we are looking forward to nice pleasant October weather!

Time to change the a/c to heating mode, and extra blankets on the bed then.
I do love the change over of the season though, the unpredictability of the weather is all part of it. Soon the log fires will be lit in the restaurants, and everyone has time to talk again.
I wonder how heavy wellies are to pack though?
