RCPP closing for winter break

The restaurant and cafe in the Royal Yacht club will be closing for 2 weeks for a well-earned winter from tomorrow 20th Jan 2014.

The waiter told me it was to re-open on 1st March .

I spoke to the owner of Brisas Marina today and he told me they will open on 1st February , Los Faroles which he also owns will be re-opening a few weeks later .

It seems then that quite a few eateries are opening earlier this year. I wonder if it's to make up for lost revenue over the last few years or just that they believe more tourists will be around earlier this season?

Hopefully the latter which will mean that PP will become more of a year round resort.

El Posito will re-open on Monday 27th January, the kitchen has had a major refit and the dining area/bar has been spruced up .

Sparky I heard there may be a new chef in Posito , you heard anything. ?

Yes Lollipop, Antonio will still be the head chef but his partner Antonia (she used to make a lot of the desserts among other things) won't so there will be a replacement for her. There will probably also be a new waiter.

Just noticed you list of bars etc which stay open during winter in PP, very useful.
Do you have any idea which bars/restaurants are open in CSV from beginning of April . Do the small supermarkets open? Thanks

No i am very sorry but i don't know about CSV, however a friend of mine runs La Tasca over there, so if i see him or his sister who lives near me i will ask.
