We tried to have lunch in El Posito yesterday but word had got out that they had opened and the place was absolutely packed, so we went today instead.
We both had home made cream of veg soup, i had escalope and Colin had rabbit with onions, we didn't have a dessert because we were too full, bread, olives and a bottle of wine is included and the bill was just 20€. The food was lovely, service was great and it's amazing that the prices are still the same as they have been for the last 4 years :D:D.

There has been a few changes now so i have updated the list, i think it's pretty accurate but things can change very quickly so if you want to go to a specific restaurant i would suggest you contact them first :D.

Nostalgia.

Nostalgia has closed for a short break before the season starts.

They will re-open on Tuesday 4th March, Kenny (ex Citrus) will be back working wonders in the kitchen from 6.30pm til 10pm and there will be a new menu with lots of affordable specials :D.

There has been a change of plan in La Roda, they were going to close this month for holidays but will now remain open, however only at lunchtimes and will still be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

El Posito.

Called into "Pozzies" earlier and Toni has asked me to let you all know that Antonio Planas (the Chef) has now retired, we along with many of you have enjoyed some fantastic meals cooked by Antonio but he could not keep going forever and we wish him a long, happy and well deserved retirement. His replacement is a younger guy called Damian who in our opinion is very good, we have been very fortunate to be given tasters of the food he cooks and we are waiting eagerly for the restaurant to open in the evenings so we can experience the full a la Carte menu :D.

Nostalgia will open again tomorrow, Tuesday 4th March. The kitchen will be serving the full a la'carte menu from 6.30pm until 10pm with chef Kenny cooking up a storm as only he can.
There is going to be a special menu on Saturday 8th March, "Kenny's Kurry" for €15.95 pp, home made Chicken Bhuna, pilau rice, naan bread, poppadum and all the usual pickles, booking is essential :D.

If they are as good as the curries he used to knock up in Citrus, I would advise anybody to go along & try.

NICO'S will re-open on Friday 28th March. Open daily except Tuesdays.

Opening hours:-
Lunch from 12:30pm to 3pm.
Evenings from 6:30pm to 11pm.

Excellent meal at Can Curassa - change in the menu of the day -choice of whole menu for 33 Euros! Sun is shining -sat at Stay after an great lunch. Another week to go.

Another change at La Roda, it's difficult to keep up with them but they are open again in the evenings.......well, for this week at least but it could change again  so watch this space ;).

Have just had a brilliant meal in El Ancla. I had roast chicken with jacket and lots of different veg and hubby had the John Dory (two large fillets) with bottle of Rioja. Such a lovely homely atmosphere inside on a cool evening . Love it! Anna does a super job in the kitchen and Leo is .......well just Leo..... So laid back!
