Real Majorca fixtures

Already been on Real Mallorca website & other ticket websites, but no sign of tickets for sale anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
If you goggle RCD Mallora tickets there are quiet a few sites selling tickets, you will need to be careful as always buying them this way, but using a credit card gives you more security, if it helps tickets look around 120 euros each.
 
Is 120 euros a ticket normal for this game or is it just the ticket companys putting there bit on. Would I be better off waiting till I get there & going to buy tickets from the ground. If so what sort of price would they be approx & is it possible they might be sold out by one/two weeks before the game.
 
Shotokan - No Frills details are to be found on this site under Excursions and Days Out, but as mentioned before they're unlikely to be able to take bookings until a couple of weeks before the match. There is an office in PP near to Burger King. And yes, it would be a trip there and back. As to the prices - mwc - the game against Barcelona last year for example was 114 euros; children 43 euros. These big matches always attract a hefty premium.
 
Hefty premium, my god I & my two sons have season tickets for the championship team we support. Almost £300 for two adults & two children for one game versus Real Madrid, that will cost more than my two boys season tickets for every home game this season. Saying that if I can get tickets we will still be going.
 
UEFA have denied Real Mallorca entry into the Europa League (reports today on Spanish websites). Legal challenge is expected but unlikely to do much good.
 
ridiculous!...I take it that'll be ground based?..

surely they coukld have used the facilities from another La Liga club for such games?...

I'll get to the ONO stadium asap and check out the full price range...I suspect that there may be tickets available under 100 Euros!
 
Shotokan, that's great, could you also find out if & when they can be bought online or if I stand a chance of buying them a week or two before the game.

UEFA Expel Real Mallorca From Europa League - Report

The Islanders will not be able to participate in European competition this season...

According to a report by AS, UEFA has decided to expel Real Mallorca from Europa League competition this season, with the Balearic club's reaction to the ruling still pending.

The ruling comes as the latest development in an ongoing saga, as UEFA has investigated Malllorca's economic viability and determined that the club's debts are too great a risk for the club to take part in European competition.

Mallorca have declared on more than one occasion that the club will appeal an expulsion from European competition, arguing that the club earned fifth place in the Liga table last season and by rule should thus be allowed to take part.

UEFA have yet to release official confirmation of the Primera Liga club's expulsion, but, pending confirmation, Villarreal will take Mallorca's place in the Europa League
 
It is such a shame that they have been expelled after doing so well last season even though finances were bad. If they could have stayed in the competition then their financial situation would have eased, it's a catch 22.
Re:- tickets for Mallorca/ Madrid i have spoken with Chris (El Posito) and he says your best bet is to try to book on-line with the likes of No Frills as it is likely to be a sell out but it won't be cheap!!!.
 
Thanks SWS..I just read the Spanish papers summary on the TB which covered this too.

'Catch 22' was exactly my annoyed thought too Lyn... it's not fair when these funds would be a much-needed boost!

At least going to a few matches may help...

Very rare occasion Deanscroft that match last year ( think you meant the season before i.e. 08/09 ).

This was a non match cos Barca had won the league and were resting players for the Champions league . If I can recall they put their kids out for a run.

Not so Bonyslad - this was the match towards the end of the 09/10 season when Barca still had all to play for.
 
Hi SK,if I may call you that,do you know if tickets & transport from Duva are still available for match on Sunday? I was thinking of making my own way by local bus etc and taking a chance on getting ticket.However just checked it's now the 21.00 kick off match on tv,so as far as I know wouldn't be able to get back to PP on local transport.
 
Should be kicking off about now in Palma, if any of you make it up to the match it would be great if you could post a report on the game and how you got up there and how you got tickets etc. :)

Yes, went to the match with my family & to be honest was not the best of games. Madrid probably edged it though was impressed with Mallorca. Expensive night out but well worth it.
