Recent experience of carjet?

We are looking for a good deal (isn't everyone!) as Record have put their prices up this year - I've heard several people mention Carjet but have never used them. Judging by their website quotes we would be making a big saving but are they reliable? Do they have an office at Palma or are they off-airport? Any feedback would be very gratefully received!

Hi Kate1, we've never used carjet for a long time but did you realise you can get a 10% discount from Record if you email them and say you are from puertopollensa.com? You have to book first and then email but they gave us a discount by return the next morning.

Hi Kate

I have been using Carjet or Drivespain, their sister comapany, for about 7 years.

Carjet and Drivespain are only agents. Drivespain allways used Goldcar who are on airport and I have never had a any problems with their cars or service. They also use Auriga Crown as well now who are also on airport.

This year the best price I found for a Focus estate was through Do You Spain who also use Auriga Crown.though their prices along with others seem to have increased considerably over the last few months since I booked.

We used Carjet many times and never had any problems with them - we've booked with Do You Spain for next month as Carjet prices had gone up so much.

Thanks so much, everyone, for all your advice - that's really helpful! No, I didn't know about the 10% discount for forum members so if we do decide to go with Record again that will certainly make a big difference.
